If you have a little one, you HAVE to get one of these super cute Play Dough Sensory kits! They are AWESOME! We have been trying to get our hands on one for a long time, and finally got this adorable Unicorn Kit! This mama (a fellow Baylor grad) makes these darling sensory play dough kits, and they sell out crazy fast every time! They recommend for kids 3+. I seriously want every single one she creates! Here is a link to her site! So many hours of creative fun!
Here is a fun craft to do with your little one! Very simple and perfect for young toddlers. Plus, since we just moved, I have a ton of this blue painters tape lying around, and it works great for this type of project!
Use tape to create a design
Let child go wild scribbling across and around the paper
We got Margaux this Sensory Table for Christmas, and it has been such a big hit! The bins are removable and you can cover them to make a table. I try to rotate activities every week or so to give her something new to play with and explore! Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I got these little plastic heart containers (similar) and let her use them as toys. I put water on one side and the hearts on the other, and she loves to go up and play throughout the day sw...
February Children’s Book Selections for the new month! Books on Chinese New Year, Groundhog Day, the Super Bowl, and of course Valentine’s Day are on our agenda this month! There are so many books on kindness and love so it was hard to narrow down the selections!

This super easy winter craft is perfect for practicing finger dexterity and creativity! I bought gem jewel rhinestone stickers and colored popsicle sticks and let the baby work on peeling the stickers and putting them on the sticks. Once she was done I glued them together! I would recommend gluing them together with hot glue first, but I was excited and jumped right in! I would also recommend doing these in different colors for Christmas and making them ornaments or stringing them up or lettin...
I love Children's books and have been collecting them for years! We have so many around the house it is easy to lose track of them and get stuck reading the same few books over and over, so this year I am going to try to pull a handful of books each month to keep out so that we get a nice, fresh variety! We can always pull from the shelves, but with these books at our finger tips, I'm excited to actually read different books with the baby this year!
It’s winter in the desert, so I thought if we wanted to build a snowman this year, it might be easiest to create our own snow!
This recipe is super fast and easy! You only need 2 ingredients and you probably already have them on hand! It takes about a minute to make and 15 minutes to freeze!
This is perfect for a fun kid activity (probably older toddler and above)! I even saw on Pinterest someone put these in ziploc bags (without water) and an Instant Snow label to give out to a classroom of kids...
Happiest of Birthdays to our precious Margaux Juliette! We loved celebrating you on your first birthday! Here are some pictures of the sweet birthday girl and our family from her party! See this post for more party details!
Our sweet friend Jeannie, who runs an awesome blog Amongst Stringfields (check it out!), is an incredible photographer and did such an amazing job with Margaux's Smash Cake photos!
We planned to wait until Margaux's first birthday to let her taste cake, but when we were in London at Peggy Porschen Cakes, we felt it was wrong to deny her a taste, so she got a bite a few weeks early, but believe it or not, she spit it right out. (Crazy, I know!) So we tried again at her cake smash (a week before...
