Where to Eat in London
While there are sooo many amazing restaurants and bars in London, here is a listing of the Top 11 Restaurants and Bars we tried and would recommend if you are planning a trip to London!
#1
Clos Maggiore
$$$ (out of $$$$$)
Here - A very romantic French restaurant in Covent Garden. Reasonable food prices, and a nice wine list make it a perfect date spot! It had beautiful flowers draping the ceiling (ask to sit in that room when booking) and a very lovely atmosphere! We had the foie gras for an appetizer that was incredible!!!

#2
Mr. Fogg's
$$$$ (For a Bar)
Here - A quirky and fun restaurant/bar with a "Tipsy Tea" Friday tea party. Perfect for drinks before a show. The bar is unmarked, with a doorman that rings you in, which gives it a very secretive feel! The drinks are absolutely amazing and the decor is funky and fun!

#3
Bob Bob Ricard
Here - They have a button at every table that says, "Press for Champagne." Yes, please! It's a fun, posh spot, great for a fun dinner with friends! Upstairs sports a blue, art-deco vibe, while downstairs is a red, party atmosphere!

#4
Burner's Tavern
$$$$
Here - We went for lunch and it was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous restaurant and excellent food! Order the chicken if you go!

#5
Gordon's Wine Bar
$$
Here - London's self-proclaimed oldest wine bar from 1890. It was so fun and really packed!! A young, vibrant, and lively crowd made for a great bar atmosphere. It is underground with a grotto section. If you want a table, come early or make a reservation. No beer, no spirits, this is a wine bar.

#6
Library Lounge
$$$
Here - Wonderful spot for afternoon tea located in the Marriott County Hall Hotel across from Big Ben and next to the London Eye. A wonderful assorment of tea and cakes in a library environment. Great for a sophisticated date or a fun trip with girlfriends.

#7
The Admiralty Trafalgar
$$
Here - Order the Pie and Ale Tasting Board for a great, traditional English meal! The basement dining room, has a cool cave/nautical feel with private alcoves.

#8
Sketch
Here - A lovely (and Pink!) tea room! Very posh and artsy tea room that serves tea and an all-you-can-eat tea sandwhich/pastry tray. Great for girlfriends. Slightly odd drawings on the wall.

#9
The Churchill Arms
Here - A restauarnt covered in flowers is my kind of restaurant. While they were doing some renovations while we were there, the atmosphere inside was still really fun.
#10
The Orangery
$$$
Here - Located in Kensington Palace, the garden orangery was converted into a public restaurant! It's a great place to walk around the gardens and visit the palace. Clean, stark white walls and a nice lunch menu make it a lovely stop on your travels!

#11
The Savoy
$$$$
Here - Great for pre-dinner drinks. Located in the Savoy Hotel, there are a variety of bars to choose from.
