I love, love, love taking pictures, so I always try to capture places, people, and moments wherever I go. I use a Canon DSLR camera when I don't mind carrying the extra weight, and my iPhone for basically everything else. While I end up with tons of pictures of places, usually the only way we get pictures of ourselves in those places is by asking other tourists. There definitely is an art to this - look for people with nice cameras or cameras similar to the one you have (hopefully if they've invested in a good camera, they know how to take pictures or will at least be familiar with how to use yours). We typically (99% of the time) ask people who we see struggling to take a selfie if they would like for us to take the picture for them. They are always very appreciative and ask to return the favor. Sometimes we get lucky, other times, not so much. Our last morning in Amsterdam however, we decided to skip the gamble of asking other tourists and do a quick 30 minute photo session with Elena Pasca through Trip Shooter. It was fun, fast, and easy and we got our pictures in less than a week! Here's a peek at how they turned out!
