Three months has been a really fun age! Margaux has become super social and loves to smile! She has great head control which makes it much easier to hold her. We started introducing toys and she has really become alert and fascinated by the world.
Margaux loves playing in her activity gym and kicks it to make the mobile swing. She loves to coo and talk to herself and squeals with delight when she is happy. She hates getting her nose suctioned, and startles when other people blow their nose or sneeze.
No updates here. Still a perfect little night sleeper going down between 8-10 PM and waking up between 6-8 AM and hit or miss on daytime naps. She struggles to sleep if people are around because she just wants to be part of the action at all times. We are still double swaddling her at night and using a sound machine.
We've now done three months of exclusive breastfeeding! She takes a bottle better, but still refuses pacifiers. She eats between 6-8 times a day and averages 15-30 minutes per feeding. I started with a schedule but this month we have done 100% on demand. It's been easier in some ways and harder in others. I think I'm going to try to get her back on a daytime schedule, but it's not been too big of a deal so far.
She definitely had some big leaps this month! She learned to roll over from stomach to back and grab objects. She can hold her head up extremely well and loves to stand with support. She balances pretty well while she is sitting too. She discovered her hands and feet and is fascinated by them. She loves to put her hands in her mouth. She was 12 pounds 15 ounces at 9 weeks and in the 80th percentile for weight, and 22.75 inches (53rd) for height. Her head size was 40.5cm and in the 95th percentile.
