Margaux - Five Months
Margaux has blossomed into the most happy and alert and curious little baby! She is fun and snuggly and loving and playful. She is soooo busy - she is constantly throwing her body weight around, trying to get down, has her head on a swivel and is super squirmy.
She got her first two bottom teeth (same day), and two more are barely cutting through on either side! She had a day or two of fussiness associated with this.
She learned how to scoot around on the walker and loooves it.
She had a Valentine's Day Party with all her baby buddies.
She likes to look at the world upside down by throwing her head back as far as she can go and arching like she's trying to do a backflip.
She loves to reach for anything in sight.
She is suuuuuper smiley and absolutely loves to coo and giggle to herself 24/7.
She responds to her name and listens intently when people are having a conversation.
She loves exploring and will reach out to grab and touch.
She makes swimming motions when doing tummy time, but hasn't mastered crawling yet.
She loves to stand and walk and can fully support her body weight and take steps - just needs a little assistance with balance.
The sound of paper crinkling and people blowing their nose alarms her.
She has developed an extremely tight (and surprisingly painful) grip which she loves to practice on mom's face and neck. Her favorite is pinching my lips together when I'm talking lol.
She will not smile during bath time, but she doesn't dislike it. She just looks very nervous the whole time.
She also doesn't totally love car rides. She loves to stare at the driver through her mirror, but rarely smiles. If the ride is too long, she will let you know by way of loud screaming.
We do everything 100% on demand, but it's just easier for everyone this way.
