Verona, Italy - Giardino Giusti Gardens
If you loved the movie The Secret Garden, or just love beautiful gardens in general, this hidden gem is a definite must during your time in Verona! The gardens are quiet, peaceful, and absolutely magnificent! We were the only two there for most of our visit and had fun frolicking through the mazes of greenery. Lonely Planet calls the garden, "a masterpiece of Renaissance landscaping." Inside, you'll find sculptures, a maze, a grotto, and a beautiful view of Verona.
The garden is open everyday (9:00 AM - 8:00 PM April-September, and 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM - October - March) and costs about $7 euro per person.
Fun Fact: This equisite 16th century Italian garden has been visited by Goethe and Mozart!
